Grumpy Bunny Sweets is a cottage bakery in Milford, Ohio. This policy explains what information we collect through grumpybun.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we only collect what we need to make and deliver your cookies.
Information you give us
When you contact us or request an order by text, email, or the order form on this site, you may share:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Order details like your event date, quantity, occasion, packaging choices, and design ideas
- Inspiration photos you choose to attach
We use this information only to respond to you, plan and fulfill your order, and arrange pickup and payment. Order form requests are sent to our email inbox; the website itself doesn't keep a copy.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. This is used to keep the site running securely and is not used to identify you.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't run third-party analytics. The site may store a small, temporary value in your browser during your visit so it can work properly.
Our gallery shows photos from our own Instagram account, @grumpybunsweets. We use Instagram's API only to read our own posts (photos, captions, and links) and display them here. We don't collect or store any information about Instagram users or visitors through this feature. Your use of Instagram is covered by Meta's own privacy policy.
How we share information
We don't sell or rent your information. We share it only with services that help us run the site:
- Vercel, which hosts this website
- Resend, which delivers order form requests to our inbox
- Google, which hosts our availability calendar (no visitor information is sent to Google when you view it)
We may also share information if required by law.
How long we keep information
We keep order conversations and details for as long as we need them to fulfill your order and for our business records, then delete them when they're no longer needed.
Your choices and data deletion
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information you've shared with us at any time. Email info@grumpybun.com with the subject "Data request" and the name and email address or phone number you used. We'll confirm and complete deletion within 30 days.
This website doesn't collect information from Instagram or Facebook users, so there's no Instagram-related data for us to delete. To manage the apps connected to your own Instagram account, visit Settings in the Instagram app.
Children
This site is intended for adults placing orders. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the effective date above.
